This trimester the students will be working on group culminating projects to review all of the units they have learned since first grade! The students are excited to work on these projects especially because they are in charge! They are able to choose their groups, topics, and projects! The students will be given time to work on these in class, but are also more than welcome to work on their projects outside of class. Many students enjoy going above and beyond, and of course I am all about that! :-) This is not a requirement, but if your child would like to videotape their project or work on it outside of class you are invited to take part in this Spanish learning experience with them. :-)

The students have about 2 and a half lessons left before they begin to present their projects. They are doing a great job. Also, the pinata parties are not far away! This is not mandatory, but for those of you who love crafts and learning about other cultures, you are welcome to take part in the pinata celebrations by making a pinata with your child. Here is a helpful youtube video on making pinatas. It is from the popular show "How It's Made." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JzMvm3X3l4Q
